YAMAHA is entering the 998cc YZF-R15 sport bike which is a new full fairing motorcycle with liquid-cooled 4-stroke DOHC 16 valves (titanium valves). The most attractive feature if this bike is the wonderful looks of the bike. If you go to on road with this bike then everyone will notice you because of its superb look.
It has a superb braking system with 220mm disc; single-piston caliper rear breaks and Dual 310mm disc; radial-mount forged 6-piston calipers front breaks which never skid even in rainy season on 60 to 70 kph. But in higher speed one should be careful when the Bike does skid of the road and not to use break harshly.
YAMAHA 2009 YZF-R1 has a reasonable weight of 454 lb so it can hold the speed with out bouncing of the road. One thing which can be said its week point is that it reaches 50 kph in no time but takes time to reach 100 kph. If it could be solved then overtaking in highways will be helpful.
