Demerits of regular playing video games

Demerits of continuously playing video games, in current by the Researchers a specific discovery has been enclosed in relation of continuously playing video games.  This particular Researchers team is from the lowa State University, according to this researcher’s team, it has been found that continuously playing of video game create different negative effects on two cognitive activity, reactive attention and proactive attention.

Usually, the Proactive attention is assumed as “ gearing up” mechanism and this Proactive attention is seemed, during performing any actions in any games such as Jumping over a rock face or achieving power upgrade for fighting against a monster to end a level.
Including it, the Reactive Control, is defined as happening or “Just in time” such as when a monster come suddenly and it creates obstacle as well as effect player’s current momentum for completing any task.

In Current, the Researchers has published their new findings in latest edition of Psychophysiology as well as got a simple test for measuring the brain waves along with behavioral responses. By this test, the Researchers found that there is a great difference in Proactive attention and reactive attention in regular players and irregular players of video games.

According to the researchers, they found that “Reactive Control” that described as “Just in time” had a similar response in two groups of gamers( regular and irregular) but a interesting thing found that “Proactive attention” that described as “Gearing up mechanism” had diminished Proactive attention’s behavioral measures in regular video games players in comparison to irregulars. Really for the gamers, this current research showed negative relationship between proactive attention and action games but on other side video games have also benefits.
