It is really good news for the country India that their capital New Delhi will be going to be the first state who will have functional court for the trial or crime against children. Till yet around 450 children cases has been registered in the 11 children’s courts in the national capital. These cases will be functioning till July month in Delhi. It will be a fist state for opening such facilities for having a speedy trial of such crimes.
The initiative of this children criminal court was taken by the Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights which is popular by the name of DCPCR among the people. It is only its initiator that had approached the Delhi High Court for the settlements of laws of children courts.
The main aim of this children court is to offer speedy justice along with relief and care to the children who have became victim of any sort of criminal offense or other such threatening. IT is really shocking that so far 450 cases found to be registered that shows that so many children are suffer ring form exploitation. The court will be hearing these cases for giving a speedy justice without any kind of delay in judicial process.
The high court in 2010 had designated around 11 children’s courts also in 11 districts of New Delhi and these courts is having no similarity that the juvenile courts. The juvenile court comprise generally have a need of special authority for trying and passing any judgment for the crimes that has been committed by the young scholars or other children.
This court will be dealing with the cases in which a child suffers from any form of violence of crime only. It will be somehow very interesting to see that whether this court is liable to solve the criminal cases of children or not n a perfect way.
